"Professional media" is often no better when it comes to commentary in newspapers. I can think of at least a few professional commentators who are every bit as inane as the majority of the blogosphere is on politics, and I don't pay much attention to the professionals anymore.

Keen misses the current state of media for some ideal. He also does not know the origins and meaning of the word "amateur," which is key logical fallacy in his book.
