DTV isn't a consumer benefit; it is a sly way to sell more spectrum.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Deregulation did not result in more CAPEX spending from VZ and ATT. Broadband competition from cable, DLEC's, CLEC's and ISP's did. But effectively that competition has been killed.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You might want to just stick to writing about the FCC for the National Review, where everyone shares your narrow and inaccurate view of FCC regulation.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Peter Rad</dc:creator><pubDate>Fri, 14 Dec 2007 11:34:49 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
