The prices are great, shipping is cheap, and the cables are excellent quality. I've probably saved literally hundreds of dollars buying from monoprice instead of getting overpriced Monster cables, or any cable for that matter from Best Buy, RadioShack, etc.

Kurt Denke response has actually raised a very significant point with regards to the current absurdity on so-called intellectual property rights today. That is if you design a product to comply with a defined industry standard, other companies should not be able to shut you down for so-called infringement.
