Technology Liberation Front: The Right Way to Allow Cell Phone Jammers - And the FCC’s Way

Let the innocent children who have been brutally beaten bloody, stripped naked, abused and tortured, and imprisoned use cell phones. The government authorities are the real bad guys.

The other obvious use mentioned in the patent is to remotely disable the recording functions of portable digital devices. Movie studios would love the ability to easily prevent people from recording films shown in theaters and "a locker room patron may feel justifiably ill-at-ease upon seeing other locker room patrons making use of camera phones or digital cameras."

The reality is that, without a global totalitarian state, or at least completely sealed borders (an impossibility), completely banning any technology is impossible.

Don't give the left any ideas. They're already too enamored of the United Nations as it is.

Side point: how is cell phone use in prison such a problem? What do prisoners possibly do that is so dangerous?
  • norman · 7 months ago
there have been several instances where imprisoned bad-guys have ordered hits on people who are testifying against them on contraband cell phones, all other phones in prison are "monitered for quality controll and training"

In no particular order: Plan escapes, plan hits on witnesses, plan hits, intimidation, harrassment etc of prison officials, coordinate the smuggling of drugs and weapons into the prison, arrange for the transfer of funds to pay for the aforementioned drugs and weapons. The list goes on......

Correction: the anti-jamming statute is 47 USC 333, not 533.

Do you know cell phone jammers are illegal?- www.wirelessphonejammer.com
I am a fun of cell phone jammers, I bought the cell phone jammers from a cell phone jammer manufacturer---Beijing Signal Knight---www.wirelessphonejammer.com, I bought a pocket size cell phone jammer SK-16A and a medium power cell phone jammer SK-3. They are very good, and help me to bolck the annoying phone calls in the Lib, Lab, meeting room, and hospital. But there is a problem, someone told me it is illegal in most countries, could you tell me the reason? Why i can not use the cell phone jammer?

I think it will be very helpful for me.

    Best regards,

A US company called cell antenna has been debating the FCC about allowing the use of jammers, particularly in prison systems - however information on this is scarce. Has anyone read any updates?
