Because the present Admin chose to ignore FISA despite the fact that under it's provisions they could have instantly tapped anyone's communications it is they who have raised the specter of WhiteHouse spooks reading the mail of anti-war organizations. They have themselves to blame for the special prosecutors, truth commissions and numerous congressional hearings that it is fondly to be hoped will soon occur.

Am I the only one who thinks that the first step here is to elect people who don't do things like commit hit-and-runs with loose women in the car with them?
