The airlines are already aware of what's planned. If they thought there was a possible outcome other than their being smeared on a colossal scale for fighting Real ID, they'd be doing it already. They'll make noises assuring the feds that they're fully in support of "fighting terrorism" and ride things out till the states are beaten into submission.
