Totally agree on that point. There's schizophrenia on the political Right on some of these media policy issues as well. Probably not as much as there is on the Left, but there are some conservative groups (especially religious conservative organizations) that have jumped in this media-bashing game and argued that they victims of a giant "liberal media" conspiracy. They say this even though there are more conservative voices on the airwaves than ever before and more religious programs on TV than we can even begin to count. Both complaints about the media environment can't be true, plausibly, at the same time.
