  • A little background on this beef: "Patrick Byrne is a paranoid fool. I am short 20k shares. I would love to short many many more shares because a rule of thumb I have is that companies run by people I feel are paranoid fools, tend to go out of business." -- Mark Cuban
  • Wow. I'm speechless.
  • Mr. Lee, the Reg story was not about defending Bagley and co. It was about the flawed inner mechanisms of Wikipedia. And if you don't think that the Wikipedia elite has lost its touch with reality, you have lost yours as well.
  • Infidel, the Register article had hardly any information about the "inner mechanisms of Wikipedia." The only evidence of wrongdoing by the "Wikipedia elite" appears to be that they've unfairly blocked Bagley from the site. I don't have the time it would take to wade through the months of arguments to reach a judgment on whether that block was justified, but given that Bagley's boss is, shall we say, rather controversial, I'm certainly not going to take his blockage as conclusive evidence of that there's something wrong with Wikipedia's leadership.
