  • This isn't too far from the truth. The FCC messaging isn't making it clear enough at the outset that if you have cable or satellite TV, you have nothing to worry about. In the case of the elderly, many retirement communities have cable service included in the unit maintenance fees and so residents really don't know what they have. But instead of saying something like "If you have CNN [or some other common cable-only channel], this doesn't appy to you", the FCC materials talk about multicasting and freeing up spectrum.
  • Yeah, quite agreed with you Marcus, most of the retirement communities do have cable or satellite TV and you really have nothing to be worried about!
