How many of the 34,000 "mice", or "hogs," are really getting throttled or zapped with forged RSTs, though, and how many are just people who happen to have Comcast service and think that their BitTorrent sessions are running too slow? Users might not be able to diagnose a problem, and will find it easy to blame Comcast for any slowness.

Check the post again. 34,700 is not a number of people, it is the number of Google results on "how to bypass Comcast."
