    That article was the most blatant demand for government assistance for newspapers I've seen in a very long time. He explicitly states that the policy would work to the benefit of his business, and not others. Yet, for some reason, I can also see this guy breathlessly denouncing "corporate welfare" when it comes in the form of tax breaks to companies.

    This shows just how idiotic the man is:


    It could be done via a progressive energy tax designed to keep energy prices at a consistently high level (while providing assistance to lower- and middle-income Americans).


    And what will they do? They'll turn right back around and use the very same devil PCs that Horwitt wants to get rid of with that "assistance."

    If only we had some kind of Constitutional provision that could prohibit such blatant attempts to stifle speech...
