They've found a gimmick that works, and they go with it. Instead of getting quoted as "<a href="http://example.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="example.com">example.com</a> spokesperson" they get quoted as "independent researcher for the Independent Institute of Whatever".</p><p></p><p>The people who are bringing discredit on themselves are any reporters or lawmakers who fall for the independent foundation trick.</p>Don MartiThu, 08 Nov 2007 12:31:15 -0000
